SongBible limits collection to information needed to operate, secure, and improve SongBible, plus information you choose to submit through enabled features. We do not sell personal information collected through this site.

Information the site may process

• Routine technical data. Hosting and delivery systems may receive an IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals when your browser requests a page or audio file.
• Local listening state. Playback position and interface preferences may be stored in your browser so the player can resume and remember your choices.
• Update requests. If you ask for product or app updates, the site processes the contact information you submit for that request.
• Issue reports. A report may include the details you enter and technical context needed to investigate the problem.

How information is used

• Deliver pages, audio, and the player features you request.
• Remember local preferences and playback state.
• Protect the service from abuse and diagnose failures.
• Send requested updates and manage those requests.
• Review, respond to, and resolve submitted issue reports.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by vendors that host, secure, deliver, or maintain the site, but only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a lawful organizational transfer. We do not rent personal information or provide it to third parties for their independent advertising.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described here, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and service security. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask about personal information associated with you, or request correction or deletion where applicable, by emailing hello@songbible.app. You can clear local player data through your browser controls and can stop requested communications by using the instructions in those messages or contacting us.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information so it can be reviewed.

Location and policy changes

The configured operator jurisdiction is United States. Information may be processed where service providers operate. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised update date and, when appropriate, an additional notice.
